The cave walls are lined with something that gives off a subdued glow, and in the distance you can hear musical laughter and the rushing sound of water. You follow the voices around a bend in the tunnel and see a giant waterfall with a large lake beneath it. The waterfall creates a great rushing sound and you wonder how you ever could have heard anything over the noise of all that water. You see some people bathing in the pool, and you wonder for a moment whether they are human, until you see one of the ones that had pulled themselves up onto a rock and see the fish tail. They were Merfolk.
You notice that the one who pulled herself up onto the rock is holding some sort of musical instrament. What could a mermaid want with pan pipes? She raises the instrament to her lips and plays a few notes, and you find yourself entrapped in a web of magic. She smiles and lowers the instraument again and you realize that she is not a mermaid, but a Siren.
