Following the path to the left, you soon meet up with what at first seems to be a person riding a horse. As you peer into the deepening gloom of the forest oasis, you see that it is not a person, but a centaur. She is standing on a cliff tossing two handsfulls of flower petals into the oasis lake.
When she sees you coming, she turns from the cliff and trots over to you. "Welcome to the Oasis, you must be one of the Mistress of the Sands' guest. Well, make yourself comfortable and I shall attempt to find you one of our scribes to tell you what you wish to know about our people." With that and a smile, she trots off into the darkening forest. |
